Olivia: “This is a watercolor and gouache on Strathmore illustration board of the icon Bettie Page. I wanted her sultry “come hither” look for the cover of my 2027 pinup calendar.
In the video, you’ll see how I build the image up slowly using very light layers of watercolor washes. When I’m almost finished, I use the airbrush to polish the piece and achieve that soft, classic pinup style.”
